HELP & FAQ
A little help for your kitchen.
A practical guide to building a plan around your real kitchen, then using it through the week.
What is the best way to get started?
Sign in with Google and complete the short shopping-rhythm setup: choose your usual shop day, how many days to plan for and how many people you are cooking for. Then add a few meals your household enjoys. The Home screen keeps these steps visible until you have a meal plan and shopping list.
How do I add meals and recipes?
Open Meals and add favourites in the section that suits them: meals, lunches, breakfasts or snacks. Start with familiar dishes you genuinely want to cook; these give your generated meal plan a useful, personal starting point.
How do I make a meal plan?
Select Generate my plan from Home or Meal Plan. Choose whether the plan should begin on your shop day or the day after. AiShopper creates a plan for the period and household size in Settings, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Generating a new plan replaces the active one, so review the dates before you continue.
How can I tailor the plan to my household?
In Settings, change the next shop date, plan length, number of people and currency. Use Recipe steering for practical preferences such as “favour vegetarian meals”, ingredients to avoid, or dietary requirements. Save your settings before generating a fresh plan or shopping list.
How do I keep pantry items off my list?
Open Pantry and add items manually, including a quantity, or take a clear photo of your shelves. Review the items detected by a pantry scan before confirming them. Keep quantities roughly up to date and the shopping list can account for stock you already have.
What are Weekly Prep and Essentials for?
Use Weekly Prep for one-off recipes or batch cooking you intend to make this week. Use Essentials for recurring household basics—such as toiletries, cleaning products or pet supplies—that should be included whenever you generate a shopping list.
How do I create and use my shopping list?
First generate a meal plan, then open Shopping List and select Generate shopping list. It combines your active plan, pantry, weekly prep and essentials, then groups items by aisle. Tick items off as you shop, edit an item with the pencil icon, or open an item to see what meals it is needed for.
Can I scan receipts or estimate my shop?
Yes. In Receipts, take a clear, well-lit photo with the whole receipt visible and review the saved purchase history afterwards. On Home, use Calculate food shop once you have a shopping list to create an estimate based on the list and saved receipt prices.
How do AI credits work?
Settings shows your remaining photo-scan and AI-request credits. Pantry, receipt and RecipeBot photo scans use a photo credit. Meal-plan, shopping-list, bulk-buy and recipe generation use an AI-request credit. Visit the subscription page if you need more credits.
Can I change or remove my data?
Yes. You can edit or remove meals, pantry items, prep, essentials and list items whenever your plans change. To clear all saved kitchen data, go to Settings, find Data Management and select Remove all data. For privacy details, see our Privacy Policy.
Where can I use AiShopper?
AiShopper is available on the web, with an Android app available through Google Play.
